His Excellency Brigadier Saeed Obaid Rashid Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, accompanied by Captain Majid Sultan Al Shamsi, visited the Sharjah International Book Fair. He toured the exhibition halls, viewing the latest publications and participating publishing houses, and commended His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's vision of making culture and books central to development and human capacity building.
His Excellency visited the pavilions of several government entities and research institutions, including the Sharjah Police General Command, the Sharjah Police Science Academy, Abu Dhabi Media Company, TRENDS Research and Advisory Center, Sarab Publishing House (part of Kalimat Group), and many other institutions and publishing houses participating in the fair, which continues until Sunday evening, November 16.
